A plane left Orlando int airport and travelled 3360 miles in 7 hours going against the wind. The plane made the return trip in 6 hours going with the wind. Find the speed of the wind .

using what you have already set up:
3360=6(r+w) 3360=7(r-w)
6r+6w=3360
7r-7w=3360
..
42r+42w=7*3360
42r-42w=6*3360
subtract
84w=3360
w=40
speed of the wind =40 mph
