Answer by lynnlo(4176)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2X^2-12X-3
b^2-4(a)(c)
(-12)^2-4(2)(-3)=168
-b±√b^2-4(a)(c)/2a
12±√(-12)^2-4(2)(-3)/2^2
12±√168/4=12±√4x42/4
=12±2√42
=3±0.5√42/1
=3±0.5√42
