Question 713523: Tell whether the system has one solution, no solution, or infinite solution?
y= 3x-4
y-3x=1

Answer by srinivas.g(540)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y= 3x-4.......................(1)
y-3x= 1.................(2)
put y= 3x-4 in eq (2)
(3x-4)-3x=1
-4 = 1
this is not possible
hence the system has no solution
