Question 707939: Tell whether the ordered pair is a solution of the equation.
y=5x; (15, -3)

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 5x

-3 = 5*15 ... plug in x = 15 and y = -3

-3 = 75

Since that last equation is FALSE, this means (15, -3) is NOT a solution.
