Question 703007: 1/x² - 1/y² over 1/xy² - 1/x²y²
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/x² - 1/y² over 1/xy² - 1/x²y²
-----------------------------------------
(x^2-y^2)/(x^2y^2) over (x^2y^2-xy^2)/(x^3y^4)
-----------------------------------------
(x^2-y^2)/(x^2y^2) over (xy^2(x-1)/(x^3y^4)
----------------------
Invert the denominator and multiply:
(x^2-y^2)/(x^2y^2) times (x^3y^4)/(xy^2(x-1))
---------
[(x^2-y^2)/(xy^2(x-1)] * [xy^2/1]
--------
