Question 702744: f(x)=4x-3, g(x)=x^4+2x
find (f-g)(3)

Answer by mathbird(71)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=4x-3
g(x)=x^4+2x
(f-g)=4x-3-(x^4+2x)
(f-g)(3)=4x-3-x^4-2x
(f-g)=2x-x^4-3
(f-g)(3)=2(3)-(3)^4-3
=6-81-3
=-78
