Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12a^3 - 9a^2 + 4a - 3
3a^2(4a - 3)+ 1(4a - 3)
Factor out (4a - 3)
(4a - 3)(3a^2 + 1)
One real root
4a = 3
a = 3/4
Imaginary roots
3a^2 = -1
a^2 = -1/3
a = +/-
