9(x - 2) + 9(x) = 12(x)(x - 2) ----- Multiplying by LCD, x(x - 2)
---- Factoring out the GCF, 6 to simplify trinomial
(2x - 1)(x - 3) = 0
2x - 1 = 0 ---- 2x = 1 -----
x - 3 = 0 ----
Many problems similar to no. 2 have been done previously for you (I think). You should be able to follow the same concept and figure this one out.
