Question 691495: Hi, I need help with solving the slope intercept form y= -2.
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y= -2
is the same as
y = 0x + (-2)
so we can see it's in the form y = mx + b (which is slope intercept form)
So m = 0 and b = -2
Therefore, the slope is 0 and the y-intercept is -2 (which is the point (0, -2))
