Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
...
A(x-1) + B(x+1) = (x+2)
...
If x is 1
A(1-1) + B(1+1) = (1+2)
2B = 3
B = 3/2
...
If x is 0
A(0-1) + (3/2)(0+1) = (0+2)
-A + (3/2) = 2 ==> multiply by 2 to remove the fraction
-2A + 3 = 4
-2A = 4-3
-2A = 1
A = -1/2
