Question 674811: I'm in 8th grade and I need help on my math homework... Like on of the problems are 3(x-6)=5x+12 please help
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(x-6)=5x+12
-----
3x - 18 = 5x + 12
Subtract 3x from both sides:
Subtract 12 from both sides:
2x = -30
Divide both sides by 2 to solve for "x":
x = -15
