4x+6y=12
9y=-6x+18

Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x+6y=12
9y=-6x+18
6x+9y=18 Multiply the first equation by -1,5 & add.
-6x-9y=-18
------------------
0x+0y=0 thus there is no solution.
These 2 equations are the same.
One equation with 2 unknowns is not solvable.
