Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2-1/2x=1/3
----
x^2 - (1/2)x - (1/3) = 0
Use the Quadratic Formula.
x = [-b +- sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/(2a)
