Hi,

x-4y=4  0r x+=+4y%2B4

3x+4=4y

3(4y+4) + 4 = 4y

 12y + 12 + 4 = 4y

    8y = -16

     y = -2  and x = -4

and...

3(-4)+ 4 = -8 = 4•(-2)
