The mathematical model C(x)= 700x+100,000 represents the cost in dollars a company has in manufacturing "x" items during a month. Based on this, how much does it cost to produce 300 items? I think its $310,000 but I'm not sure.
------------------------------
C(x)= 700x+100,000
---------
C(300) = 700*300 + 100,000 = 210000 + 100,000 = $301,000
You are correct.
Cheers,
Stan H.
