Multiply across.
7*4 = 28
12 *5 = 60
is your raw answer.
Most mathematicians have certain standards. One of those being that a fraction should always be in its simplest form.
What is the GCD(28,60). ~GCD is greatest common divisor.
If you are unsure, just divide by numbers you feel comfortable with.
Well 28 and 60 are both even so I can divide a 2.
But hey 14 and 30 are both even so I can divide a 2 again. (Dividing by 2 two times is equivalent to dividing by 4.)
7 and 15 have a GCD of 1.
