look for two numbers that when multiplied it gives 7 and when added or subtracted it gives 6
we take 1 and 7
1 x 7 = 7 and 1- 7= -6

X^2+ 1X - 7X + 7
X(X + 1) - 7 (X +1)
= (X +1) (X -7)
= -1 OR 7
