The "domain" specifies all valid values of k.
For
5/(k+2)
The only value that k can't be is when the denominator is zero (can't divide by zero) that value is:
k+2 = 0
k = -2
That is the ONLY value k can't be
so the domain is
"all real number except for -2"
OR
(-oo, -2) U (-2, +oo)

oo stands for infinity
