SOLUTION: I need to know how to factor 21x^2(2x-3)+41x(2x-3)+10(2x-3). What I have done so far is to multiple and combine like terms. Is that right? Then i came up with 42x^3+82x^2+20x-186.

Question 585507: I need to know how to factor 21x^2(2x-3)+41x(2x-3)+10(2x-3). What I have done so far is to multiple and combine like terms. Is that right? Then i came up with 42x^3+82x^2+20x-186. Do I factor by grouping? The cube factor kinda freaks me out. Please help!! Thanking you so much for your help and input. I dont just need answers, I really want to understand how I need to do this. Thank you.
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
factor: 21x^2(2x-3) + 41x(2x-3) + 10(2x-3)
Note that it is already grouped, each term contains (2x-3), so you can
(2x-3)(21x^2 + 41x + 10)
I would just leave it like this
