linear function like
x+y=10
same as
y=10-x or y=(-1/1)x+10
this is in the slope intercept formula
y=mx+b
where m= slope and b is y intercept
m=-1/1
b=10
so your starting point is (0,10)
and to make the other point you go down 1 and to the right 1 (1,9) then draw line through the dots

2y-10x=20
put it in slope intercept form
2y=10x+20
y=5x+10
m=5/1 b=10
points (0,10) and (1,15)
__________________
3y-7x=33
3y=7x+33
y=(7/3)x+11
m=7/3 b=11
(0,11)(3,18)
