Question 558042: The perimeter lf a rectangle is 86cm. If the lenght of the rectangle is 4x+7 and the width of the rectangle is 2x find the value of x
Answer by saifoo.khan(162)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimeter = 2(L+B)
86 = 2[(4x+7)+2x]
Solve for x.
x = 6
So
widtht = 2x = 12
length = 4x+7 = 31
