Question 552168: if ax=b-x then x=?
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ax=b-x | Get all terms with x on the left side. Add x to both sides.
ax+x=b | Factor x out of the left side.
x(a+1)=b | Divide both sides by a+1
x=b/(a+1)
