Of a 160 crimes 75% percent are committed. 20% percent of those committed crimes were convicted. Of those convicted admitted to committing 5 other crimes. How many crimes were solved.

75% of 160 is 120, so 120 are committed. THen you have to find 20% of those. That number is 24. So 24 crimes are convicted. Those 24 people confessed to 5 other crimes, so multiply by 6. what puts the number of crimes solved at 144.
