You can assign it to either the numerator or denominator, doesn't matter...
.
Let's say we assign it to the numerator:
(-2)/3=(-10)/t
cross-multipling we get:
-2t = -30
dividing both sides by -2:
t = 15
.
OR, we could have assigned it to the denominator:
2/(-3)=10/(-t)
cross-multiplying:
-2t = -30
t = 15
.
OR, any combination...
