if two angles are complementary and the difference between their measures is 62 find the measure of each angle
.
Let x = angle
then
90-x = complement of angle
.
x - (90-x) = 62
x - 90+x = 62
2x-90 = 62
2x = 152
x - 76 degrees
.
Complement:
90-x = 90-76 = 14 degrees
