You should factor the equation x^3+6x^2+6x-4 to get this
(x+2) (x^2+4 x -2)
use the factors (b)of your free term -4 which are +/-1, +/-2 and +/-4. also make sure they are factors for your function verifying that f(b)= 0 .
then the zeros are x=-2, x=-2-sqrt6 , x=-2+sqrt6
