27. Only two of the five diagonals have positive slope (BD has slope zero), so C) Two is correct.

28. Given that the tile can tessellate the plane (which it can), the area of one tile is 3 ft^2, and the area of the floor is (30 ft)(20 ft) = 600 ft^2. 600/3 = 200, so C) 200 is correct.

29. This question looks somewhat ambiguous since "straight line" on a curved surface can mean different things. Obviously, the least possible distance from A to B is sqrt(41) because you can draw a right triangle with legs 4 and 7. Or, you could draw a line that "wraps" around the cylinder, which could be infinitely long. I would have to go with E) sqrt(41) though.
