Question 45572: A coat was priced at $60. At a sale, the coat sold for $48. What was the percent of discount on the coat?
Answer by adamchapman(301)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
48/60=0.8=80%
So $48 is 80% of the original price of $60.
100%-discout=80%
so the discount is 20%
I hope this helps.
