Substitution x+y=3 x=3-y substitute this value of x interms of y and solve.
eliminiation
x+y=5
2x-3y=10
we multiply eqn 1 by 2
2x+2y=10
2x-3y=10
---------
subtract line 2 from line 1 thus eliminating x
2x+2y=10
-2x+6y=-10
---------- add both the lines
8y=0 so y=0 in this case ANS
