Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How to establish this identity? Cos(theta)(tan(theta) + cot(theta)) = csc(theta)
-------------
You can work on either or both sides.
Cos(theta)(tan(theta) + cot(theta)) = csc(theta)
Change it all to sines & cosines
Cos*(sin/cos + cos/sin) = 1/sin
sin + cos^2/sin = 1/sin
Multiply by sine
sin^2 + cos^2 = 1
