Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"Use the FOIL method to find the product"
(3x^2 - 8)(x^9 - 9)
= 3x^2(x^9) + 3x^2(-9) - 8(x^9) - 8(-9) {used foil method}
= 3x^11 - 27x^2 - 8x^9 + 72 {multiplied through}
= 3x^11 - 8x^9 - 27x^2 + 72 {re-arranged in order of decreasing exponents}
