A line passing through (15,19) and (10,y) is parallel to a line with slope 2. What is the value of y?
.
Since slope is:
(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
.

2 = (y - 19)/(10 - 15)
2 = (y - 19)/(-5)
-10 = y - 19
9 = y
