In problems containing sales tax, express the sales tax as a decimal.
for ex 6% sales tax is .06 * cost of the product.
ex if some cost $1.00, the sales tax would be $.06 or 6 cents
Somthing costing $100, .06*$100 or $6.00 would be the tax
