this is the difference of squares , which factors into the sum and difference of cubes

First factor the difference of two squares:



Then factor the sum and difference of two cubes using the pattern:





You don't specify, but I'm going to assume that you only want to factor this over the reals. If you need the complex factors of the two trinomials, write back and I'll talk you onto what you need to do.
