Question 330786: Can you please help me solve
Find the slope if it exists, of the line containing the pair of points.
(4,3) and 9,-2)
The slope m+ _____?
Thank you!

Answer by texttutoring(324)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There is a slope equation for any two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2):

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

For your question:
m = (-2-3) / (9-4)
m = -5 / 5
m = -1

The slope of the line between those two points is m=-1.
