let Marco's age be x years
Eddie's age = 4x
..
after 10 years
marco's age will be x+10
eddie's age = 4x +10
..
4x+10=2(x+10)
..
4x+10=2x+20
4x-2x = 20-10
2x=10
x=5 marco's age
eddies age will be 4x = 4*5
=20 years.
