Question 304590: Suppose you are older than your brother, and at most, half your Father's age. Let x be your age, b your brother's, and f your father's. Write a compound inequality that describes the relationship of your age to that of your brother's and your father's.
Answer by blwinbbbles(106) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = you
b = brother
f = father
If you are older than your brother then x>b, and you are at the oldest 1/2 your father's age so you would be less than or equal to f/2
So b < x < or = to f/2
