(-10,-6) and (-16,-18)
Slope=(-18+6)/(-16+10)=-12/-6=2 ans.
-6=2*-10+b
-6=-20+b
b=-6+20
b=14 ans. for the y intercept.
y=2x+14

Find the slope,if it exists, of the line containing the pair of points, (-10,-6) and (-16,-18)
The slope m of the line between two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is defined as:
m = (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
In this case we have:
m = (-6-(-18))/(-10-(-16))
m = (-6+18)/(-10+16)
m = 12/6 = 2
