#1 "Every month Jade drives to visit her aunt who lives 8 miles away. How far will she drive on these trips after 4 months?

#2 "A farmer wants to plant 48 trees in a row.How many trees will he plant in all?

#3 "There are 24 flowers in a vase, 7 are roses and 8 are violets. The rest are daisies. How many daisies are in the vase?

Please help me solve these questions they are very important to me!!

1. If Jane lives 8 miles away from her aunt, then she must drive 16 miles every time she visits -- presuming that she comes back home every time. So if she goes every month, then in 4 months she will drive 16 times 4 miles.

2. 48 times the number of rows.

3. Add 7 plus 8, then subtract the result from 24.
