I am guessing that you have left out some parenthesis(). If in doubt put parenthesis around nearly everything. I think the problem is supposed to be 2/(x-3)+3/(3-x) which looks like this:
However the problem that you wrote would have looked like this:
With that said...
in order to add two numbers they must have the same denominator. If we look at the denominators:x-3 and 3-x we notice that one of them is the exact opposite of the other or the negative. So factor out a -1 from 3-x and you get -1(-3+x) which can be written -1(x-3)

So now we have

Multiply the top and bottom of: by -1
and you get:

Since the denominators are the same now we can add the two expressions.
