2h^2-h-3=0
(2h-3)(h+1) = 0
.
If EITHER (2h-3) or (h+1) is zero, the left side is zero. So, two solutions:
1st solution:
(2h-3) = 0
2h = 3
h = 3/2
.
2nd solution:
(h+1) = 0
h = -1
.
Conclusion:
h = {-1, 3/2}
