from 10am to 6 pm is 8 hours at 55 kmph means eve traveled 440 km.
if adrienne is 100 km ahead of eve and adrienne started one hour ahead of eve, then adrienne had to travel 540 km in 9 hours making her average rate of speed 60 kmph.
