You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify the following:
x^2+y^2-[x(x+y)-y(y-x)]
= x^2 + y^2 -[x^2+xy -y^2+xy]
= x^2 + y^2 -x^2 +y^2 -2xy
= 2y^2 - 2xy
