The probability that the first student that walks into the room is a girl is the number of girls divided by the number of students. Given that a girl is first to walk in, then the probability the second student is a girl is the number of girls who haven't entered the room yet divided by the number of students that haven't walked in the room yet. The total probability is the product of those two individual probabilities.
