Y=mX+b WHERE THE (X,Y) VALUES REPRESENT ONE POINT ON THE LINE, m=THE SLOPE & b=THE Y INTERCEPT.
5=2X+10 IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE LINE EQUATION.
HERE WE HAVE A SLOPE=2 & A Y INTERCEPT=10 (0,10)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 12, x = 2x +10).
