Cost of Concentrated Acid (per liter): 90 cents
Dilution , 1 part acid to 5 parts water (total 6 parts)
Cost of Diluted Acid - The mixture cost is (1/6) * 90 cents. =15 cents
4. Selling Price of Diluted Acid (per liter): 24 cents
5. Profit = Selling Price−Cost Price=24−15=9 cents
Now,the percentage profit->
Cost price =15 cents
Percentage Profit=(9/15)×100≈60%
Percentage profit is 60%.

Assume that water id for free, i.e. at no charge. So, we have now 6 liters of the mixture by spending 90 c. Next, we sold 6 liters of the mixture for 6 * 24 c = 144 c. We have the profit of 144 c - 90 c = 54 c. The percentage profit is = = 0.6 = 60%. ANSWER. The percentage profit is 60%.
