two trains leave the station at the same time headed in opposite directions. Train 1 travels 110kph while train 2 travels 130kph. What time will they be 720km apart?
Train 1 travels 110kph
while train 2 travels 130kph.
They are going away from each other.
So add up their speed.
combined speed = 110+130=240 kph
Distance = Speed X time
Time = distance /time
720/240 =3 hours
They will be 720km apart at 1.00 pm
