Question 1170628: Hi, can help me solve this? Thankss~
(a) Find the term that is independent of x in the expansion of (x - 3x)^6 in ascending powers of x.
(b) Hence, find the term that is independent of x in the expansion of (2+2/x^2)(x-3/x)^6.

Answer by ikleyn(52835)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

Regarding part (a) in your post - - -  THERE  IS  NO  term/terms independent on x
in the expression  (binomial expansion)   (x-3x)^6.

Also, there is no any connection between this expression (x-3x)^6 and
expressions of the part (b).

Be more accurate next time.

And in all times after the next.
