A goat is tied to a rope which can slide along a straight line wire 10 m.
Find the area in which that goat can graze if the rope is 3.5 m long.
:
Assuming the rope can extend outward from the two ends of the 10m wire,
to form a semi-circle of a radius of 3.5m on each end
A = (2(3.5) * 10) +
A = 70 + 38.48
A = 108.48 sq/m

Depends on the height of the wire.
If the wire is 3.5 meters above ground, the area is nearly zero.
