Question 1141523: A car dealer made a profit of 22.5% by selling a car for GH¢58,000. Find correct to two decimal places, the percentage profit if the car had been sold for GH¢61,200
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The original price is x
the selling price is 1.225x, since the profit was 22.5%
so 1.225x=580000
x=47346.94
if that is the case, the profit for a selling price of 61200 is increase over the original x price of 47346.94
(13,853.06) divided by 47346.94, (profit is increase/original amount)=29.26%
